Pavement Marking / Line Striper Position
We are currently hiring experienced Pavement Marking / Line Stripers and Crew Supervisors. Multiple positions are available, and we are hiring immediately.
- Previous experience as an asphalt or pavement marking crew supervisor is preferred. Experienced crew leaders are welcome to bring qualified crew members to join our growing team
- Paid training is available for qualified candidates
- CDL license is a plus, but is not required
Daily responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assist with the installation of pavement markings on various surfaces
- Layout and stripe parking stalls, ADA parking spaces, fire lanes, traffic lanes, crosswalks, arrows, curb markings, and other pavement markings
- Install traffic signs, ADA signs, wheel stops
- Operate and maintain Graco line striping equipment and other pavement marking tools
- Read and follow layout plans and job site drawings
- Measure and verify pavement markings for accuracy
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies
- Prepare and clean work areas before and after each project
- Set up and remove traffic control devices to maintain a safe work environment
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of striping equipment
- Complete other duties as assigned
*Overnight travel opportunities are available for employees interested in out-of-town projects.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of pavement marking or line striping experience
- Experience with new layout striping and restriping preferred
- Experience operating Graco line striping equipment preferred
- Valid driver’s license preferred (CDL is a plus)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more repeatedly throughout the workday
- Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and other safety equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and dusty conditions
- Ability to work long shifts, overtime, nights, and occasional weekends as needed
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, including a 50 lb. lift test
